Throughout this very unusual year, American Pharmacists Association (APhA)–Academy of Pharmacy Practice and Management (APPM) leaders members came together virtually to strengthen our profession during a challenging time being essential health care workers on the frontlines coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic as well dealing with pressures declining reimbursement, increasing workload, promoting personal professional well-being. APhA–APPM is dedicated assisting in enhancing pharmacy, improving medication use, advancing patient care. The Academy represents pharmacists all practice areas has member-driven structure where can engage, interact, lead, actively participate activities Academy, Association, profession. work members, whether through Special Interest Groups (SIGs), standing committees, or other opportunities volunteer their expertise, contribute making an impact patients Executive Committee, comprising 9 elected officers, met routinely track progress made toward 2020-2021 plan.
